Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment Museum, Dover Castle

The forebear regiments of the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment have fought in nearly all the major campaigns and theatres of war in which the British Army have been engaged in since 1572. Queens, Royal Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey are but a few of these regiments. Under the auspices of Lt Col Wilson a large number of WWII veterans were recorded for posterity. These men came from all ranks and spoke of their experiences in Europe, North Africa and Asia. The interviews were combined with archive photographs and footage from the IWM to give a compelling overview of the forebear regiments war activities.
